2026-06-20  Footballers Wanted

Kippax Welfare U13's (current year 8's) Greens are looking for new players. They are a lower division team and play in the Garforth Sunday League. If you are new to football, or looking for a new team for next season come along on Wednesday to training to see what you think. 

2026-06-18  Find that Flag

All 48 flags of the countries that are playing in the World Cup are now up on Kippax High Street. Collect an entry form and pictures of each flag from Pat?s Sweet shop or Kippax Library and see if you can find all the flags. 

2026-06-16  Knit and Natter

There is a Knit and Natter at Kippax Methodist Church on Thursday 18th June from 2pm to 4pm. Tea/coffee and cake is ?2. Everyone welcome. 

2026-06-16  Community Morning Event

There is a community morning event at Bowers Allerton Hall on Wednesday 17th June from 10am to noon. Come along and see the newly refurbished hall. 

2026-06-15  First Steps Playgroup

The First Steps Playgroup meets at St Mary?s Church Kippax for 0 to 5year olds every Thursday morning from 10am to 11.15am. For more information call 07739 151701. 

2026-06-14  Feeding Britain Survey

Kippax Community Pantry is participating in a second Feeding Britain Survey. All existing pantry members can take part and for every survey completed they will get a free visit to the food bank side of the pantry worth ?5 . Surveys can be filled in online using the QR code on the poster or collect a printed copy when you next visit the pantry. This survey is open now until 18t July 

2026-06-13  Helping Hands

Kippax Ward Councillors James Lewis and Michael Millar provided ?1500 of funding towards the cost of this year?s Kippax gala. Kippax Parish Council volunteers also raised ?277 for Kippax Community Pantry at the Gala. 

2026-06-12  Charity Darts Tournament

There is a Charity Darts Tournament at Bowers Allerton Hall on Saturday 13th June from 2pm. 

2026-06-11  Early Years Event

There will be an Early Years Brigshaw Beginnings Event at Brigshaw High School Sports Hall on Friday 10th July from 4pm to 6pm. This event is for children and parents who are joining one of their nursery or reception classes this September. 

2026-06-08  Plague!

Kippax Amateur Dramatic Society will be performing Plague! Village of Bogsfield from Wednesday 29th July to Saturday 1st August in St Mary?s Churchyard Kippax at 7pm with a matinee of Saturday at 3pm. Picnic plots are ?54.20, village seating is ?17.34 including booking fee from ticketsource.
